C. 19,3 x 26,7 cm, laid paper, some signed, some with address of Visscher or Gerard de Jode, numb., Latin text (some trimmed inside platemark, few corners missing, few repaired tears, some edges strengthened, some red pencil lines, few browned, few holes, few dampst., few spots and stains). - Large and diverse ensemble from Visscher's influential picture Bible, with many plates from Gerard de Jode's "Thesaurus". This collection incl. various series (some complete) by numerous prominent designers and engravers, incl.
