After FERAUD, engraved by François LE VILLAIN, 19th century Butterflies of Brazil. Colour lithograph, titled in the lower margin. D. 28 x 35 cm (at sight). Small folds, small stains and foxing. Not examined out of the frame. Madame FERRAUD was a 19th century painter of flowers who exhibited at the Salon of 1833/1835. François Le VILLAIN (active from 1820 to 1830) was a French lithographer and painter who settled in Paris at the beginning of the 19th century. He was a competitor of Engelmann and exhibited at the Salon of 1819 and 1822. Attached: Engraved by DUPUY Butterflies in the night. Colour lithograph, published by Terquem et May in Metz. Plate A 35. D. 30.5 x 40.5 cm (at sight). As is, not examined outside the frame.
