First edition containing: in the first part, the works of Seneca the Philosopher, accompanied by commentaries by J. Lipse, M.-A. Muret, F. Pincianus, Erasmus, J. Opsopœus, J. Gruter and F. Juret, and the Loci communes under separate pagination. Followed by André Schott's commentary (De auctore, et declamandi ratione - De claris apud Senecam rhetoribus, in separate pagination), same date and same publisher. A copy bearing the arms of the Collège Mazarin. Missing the portrait of Seneca engraved on the title page printed on both sides and replaced by an old blank leaf.
