1874 tailor kepi. Type 1874 kepi in madder cloth, dark blue headband, blue piping. On the front of the kepi is a brass infantry badge topped with a tricolour metal cockade and a madder tassel. Fawn leather chinstrap held in place by two gold infantry buttons, the end of which is damaged on the left. Officer's sweatband in fine gilt leather. Black leather visor with green morocco lining, partially unstitched at the snap, black silk lining. Tailor-made kepi model 1874. Made of crimson cloth with dark blue band and blue piping. Infantry badge in brass to the front surmounted by a metal tricolour cockade and crimson pompon. Light brown leather chinstrap secured by two gilt infantry buttons, damaged at the left end. Officer's leather sweatband stamped in gold, black leather visor lined in green morocco partly unstitched at the trim, black silk lining.
