Description
Special 1918 Adrian artillery helmet. Model 1915 artillery helmet, model 1915 attribute, the visor of which has been cut to fit a leather bead held laterally by brass rivets crimped onto the nape of the helmet. Only one chinstrap fastener present, second type greased black leather cap, horizon blue cloth headband, four aluminium wafers, three of which are pierced. Model 1918 Adrian helmet for special artillery. Model 1915 artillery helmet modified with visor cut down to accommodate a leather reinforcement roll secured laterally by brass rivets on the neck guard. Only one chinstrap attachment remains. Second pattern black leather liner, well greased, blue horizon cloth band, four aluminium pads, three of which have been re-pierced.
