Tropical jump jacket. Made from beige cotton canvas, chest pocket closes with two press studs in original brown paint. Under the left breast pocket is a second vertically opening pocket that closes with two press studs. All the original buttons are present, and the armpit opening is in the shape of a triangle. Two side openings on the back close with two press studs, also in original paint. Effect bearing a colonial intendance stamp and a size 33L stamp. Inner drawstring still present. Jacket adopted in late 1948, observed individually in Indochina as well as in Madagascar and Dakar. Tropical jump jacket.
