BORREL, according to. "Admiral BRUAT in profile". Patinated bronze medallion, pierced for the suspension at the top. Diameter: 18.5 cm. A.B.E. Late 19th century. Armand Joseph BRUAT Admiral of France (Colmar 1796-at sea 1855). Government commissioner in Tahiti, he negotiated the establishment of a French protectorate with Queen Pomaré.
