Church interior. Etching, roulette, watercolour, 18,9 x 15,0 cm, pencil signed, dated on verso. - The artist and publisher Cornelis Ploos van Amstel (1726-1798) produced this print after a drawing by Pieter Jansz. Saenredam (1597-1665), famous for his church interiors. By combining the etching technique with careful hand-colouring, Ploos van Amstel produced "printed drawings". His coat of arms is printed on the verso. - Ref. Laurentius 21.
