Egypt, Nubia and Ethiopia. Illustrated by one hundred stereoscopic photographs. In-4to: albumen prints, 7,2 x 14,4 cm, pasted on mounts with printed captions, signature in some images. - Francis Frith (1822-1898) was an English photographer who made three journeys in Egypt. The texts are written by Samuel Sharpe (1799-1881), who wrote several books on Egyptian history. The texts are illustrated with wood engravings by Joseph Bonomi (1796-1878), an English sculptor, artist and Egyptologist. - Joined: 2 brochures published by Negretti & Zamba, London, "Stereoscopic views in the Holy Land from negatives taken by F. Frith 1858" and "Stereoscopic views in Egypt Nubia etc from negatives taken by F. Frith 1857" (stains).
