Gr. in-4° (rare and faint foxing). - Uncommon forgery (original ed.: Brux., 1882) published by Brancart under false address, printed on Van Gelder Zonen hollande with a fleuron on the title showing a satyr abducting a nymph, after a drawing by Rops, who has often attributed it to Kistemaeckers. Enriched with : 2 L.A.S. from the author (addressees not mentioned), Paris, 23-12-1889 (letterhead of the Direction du Commerce at the eponymous ministry) and Cluny, 3-05-1914 (letterhead of the Musée de Cluny),- 1 erotic watercolour depicting a scene of masturbation of a young man by two women, n.s.,- 1 card with aut. s. dispatch,- 1 gr. photographic portrait of the "sire de Chambley" (n.s., by Willy Michel?). - Ref. Dutel 445. - Pia 766 (attributes the edition to Kistemaeckers). - Prov. Willy Michel (1904-1976), pioneer photographer in France of the photobooth, fervent bibliophile and collector of dedications (dispatch "To my young friend" dated 1927). - Joint, same edition, collation, paper and embossed blank cover imitating a reptile skin, but in in-12 format (a few light spots). Bradel red half-percaline with corners signed V. Champs. Unknown to Pia and Dutel in this format. (2 vols.)
