The Adventures of King Pausole. [Illustrated by Marcel Vertès]. Fort in-4°. - 74 original drypoints including 1 frontispiece and 29 h.-t. Unique edition of 99 numbered copies on Arches vellum watermarked "Roi Pausole" and "Vertès" plus a number of collaborators' copies (no. 59), containing a suite with remarks of the drypoints and a suite of the 15 plates refused. Enriched with : 3 original ink sketches b.s. by Vertès including 1 free, - a small watercolour accompanying an aut. signed letter from the illustrator to the half-title.
