A summer in the country. Correspondence of two young Parisian women collected by a fashionable author. In-8° oblong. - First edition of 8 free etchings, 45 bands and 23 culs-de-lampe (some repeated), many of which are free subjects or decorated with phallic motifs, attributed to Auguste Brouet. The text of this erotic classic (original ed.: Bruxelles, Poulet-Malassis, 1868), usually attributed to the modest author of "Monsieur, Madame et Bébé", is probably, at least in part, the work of Poulet-Malassis himself, who reworked the novel by an unknown beginner. Edition of 135 copies, of which 15 with states and 10 h.c., one of the 110 current on madagascar, the only paper (n° 100).
