Pet. in-4°. - A booklet full of derision published on the occasion of the hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the Kingdom of Belgium, a country described by Alechinsky, Bury and Folon as follows in the leaflet accompanying the publication: "To solve three problems, Belgium has found a dozen solutions. Unable to choose between them, it waits and solves this waiting by inventing Commissions, Commissioners, Reporters, Emissaries, Delegates, Attachés. Thus was born a supernumerary Belgium". Illustrated with reproductions of works by Alechinsky and a logo by Folon on the lower cover. With an aut. s. letter from Alechinsky to Joseph Noiret dated January 1980 with a small original drawing: "Pour Joseph, qui sait sur place, et mieux, de quoi on parle, son ami, Pierre". - Prov.
