Revised, corrected & enlarged by the author. 12mo; 18 plates (text n.c., occ. foxing, cancel correcting a word on p. 3). - Treatise on bladder calculi (1st 1682) by F. Tolet (1647-1724). Ill. with the author's portrait, 18 full-page engr. on 17 ff. and in-text representing surgical instruments, examples of different kinds of calculi, surgical procedures, etc. The technique of stone surgery was learned through apprenticeship.
