La rôtisserie de la reine Pédauque. Revised and corrected edition by the author. Colour illustrations by Joseph Hémard. In-8°. - 34 stencil-coloured compositions: cover vignette, title vignette and 32 in-text. Edition of 480 copies, one of the top 50 on vellum (No. 22) with 1 signed original watercolour and 1 black suite of all the illustrations. Enriched with : 1. A unique suite of illustrations coloured by the artist and used as a model for the colouring, preceded by an aut. note signed by the publisher: "all this suite of illustrations are [sic] strictly speaking Hémard's originals and there have been no others" (these are, however, the coloured engravings and not the original drawings). - 2. the draft and the "bon à tirer" proof of the cover with mss. technical indications - 3. ms. sheet of the copy with indications of provenance. - Ref.
