Fortunio. Textual reprint of the original edition. Twenty-four colour lithographs by A. Lunois. Pet. in-4° (spotting and foxing). - Illustrated with 24 h.t. colour compositions. Edition at 600 copies, ours h.c. on chine printed for the illustrator (not mentioned in the justification), with 16 original signed watercolours by Lunois on tinted laid paper, 1 suite of h.-t. in 3 states, 1 frontispiece portrait of Gautier engraved by Braquemont after a photo by Nadar and 15 compositions by Félix Augustin Milius executed for the 1880 edition: 1 frontispiece title with remarks, 12 etchings in black (with and without remarks) and 2 original preparatory drawings. With an aut. s. from Lunois to an unidentified addressee: "Les exemplaires que l'on doit me donner n'arrive [sic] pas, comme je ne veux pas vous faire attendre je vous envoie mon exemplaire en souvenir cordial de votre bien dévoué". - Prov.
