Gr. in-4°. - First edition of this text which formed the 2nd chapter of "Souvenirs d'enfance et de jeunesse" (1883). Ill. with 23 black and purple compositions and numerous Greek-inspired ornaments. Front portrait of the author after Chapelain, text with gold lettering and a few words printed in blue or red.
