In-4°. - First edition of the translation, illustrated with 33 stencil-coloured watercolours: cover and title vignettes, frontispiece, 8 hors-texte and 22 in text. Edition of 360 numbered copies, including 24 proofs. Among the 12 first editions on supernacré japon blanc, one of the 11 (after 1 single edition) containing 3 suites of the 31 main illustrations: in colour on Arches vellum and on japon impérial and in black on chine (2 leaves on chine missing) (n. 10). Beautiful edition constituting the 3rd publication in the collection "Le Panthéon du bibliophile", edited by Albert Parmentier.
