(3rd part missing, pl. of Affligem Abbey and La Cambre Abbey missing; some occ. spotting or normal toning). - Second ed. of this topographical work, profusely illustrated with large views of abbeys and monasteries. This ed. is particularly interesting from a topographical viewpoint because of some renovations to the buildings since the 1st ed. (1656-1666), the new pl. are oriented differently as well. Engr. ill.: 1 front-portrait of Sanderus by F. van Bleyswyck, headpiece with portrait and coat of arms of the dedicatee Marie-Elisabeth by F. Bleysweyck, 2 title-vign. by D.
