Colour lithograph, 95 x 126.7 cm (text cut, green and horiz. folds flattened, tears, small losses (1 restored at lower corner), trace of adhesive paper). - Poster contrasting two speeches made by Jules Renkin (Minister for the Colonies from 1908-1918), one dated 25 April 1908 ("I affirm on my honour that everything is in order") and the other dated 3 March 1810 ("I must admit that my information was inaccurate") concerning a loan of 30 million Belgian francs to the Belgian Congo which was never repaid to the Belgian State. - Ref.
