Pagoda in vol. I missing as often; occ. sl. foxing and soiling, damp stain to upper margin of p. 95 vol. II). - First edition illustrated with 2 frontispieces, 8 plates, one map hand-coloured in outline and in-text ill. The English Anglican Heber (1783-1826) served as bishop of Calcutta for 3 years, from 1823 until his death. He travelled widely in the country during his stay.
