Unpublished diary, notes and c. 300 photographs of a 14-year journey through South-East Asia (India, Nepal, Laos, Cambodia...). 2 vols. in-4° typewritten, 1 vol. of notes div. and 4 albums of c. 300 original b&w silver photographs. - A curious and unpublished account of these regions by a young Belgian archaeologist, comprising more than 300 photos taken by the traveller or showing him among the local population or working on excavation sites, as well as numerous monuments and archaeological sites, landscapes, scenes of local life, etc. Most of the photos are dated and dated by the traveller. Most of the photos are dated and annotated on the back (in bic in French, some typed in English). The diary, which is very detailed, combines biographical accounts, descriptions of archaeological digs (with numerous diagrams and sketches) and socio-cultural and cultural observations, in a spontaneous style that suggests inspiration drawn from the writings of the Beat Generation.
