Quarters of nobility of "Damoiselle Hypolite Joseph Gislaine de Vicq de Cumptich". 74 x 82 cm, in French, brown ink on parchment, coat of arms enhanced with watercolour, captions framed with red fillets, signatures of Jean-Henri [de Frankenberg] archbishop of Malines, the duke of Beaufort, the count of Spangen and the count of Argenteau with their red wax seals (slight marg. soiling, seals crumbling and ± incomplete). - Beautiful family tree illustrated with 31 coats of arms, proof of nobility for [Marie] Hippolyte Josèphe Ghislaine de Vicq de Cumptich (born in Malines in 1773 or 1774), only daughter of François Constantin de Vicq (1730-1816), baron de Cumptich, captain in the cuirassiers regiment of Archduke Maximilian, and Cécile Livine Ghislaine d'Olmen de Poderlé. Among the ascendants, we also find the names of the de Cocq, Blondel, de Steenhuys, de Corte families, etc.
