Description
Manufacture of Saint-Clément (Lorraine). Combination of a Rocaille-style hand candlestick (15.5 x 13.5 x 9 cm high) and a pyrogen in the shape of a helmet (8 cm high), both in white-blue glazed earthenware. Handwritten signature in blue under the candlestick "SCt 14". Late 19th century. Modest chips. Exhibited in 2012 at the Château de Lunéville during the exhibition "Faïences en Lumière - Les productions de Lunéville Saint-Clément", and reproduced in the catalogue p. 36 and 49. Provenance: Geneviève Aubry collection (1948-2025), Rosières-aux-Salines.
