Description
Manufacture of Saint-Clément (Lorraine). A pair of "Marie-Antoinette" openwork earthenware candlesticks with rose monochrome decoration. Handwritten signature in manganese pink "SCt 6". Late 19th century. Height 22 cm. Two other candlesticks of the same shape and size with very similar decoration, which could form a suite. Minor accidents and restorations.
Exhibited in 2012 at the Château de Lunéville during the exhibition "Faïences en Lumière - Les productions de Lunéville Saint-Clément", and reproduced in the catalogue p. 33.
