Description
Manufacture of Saint-Clément (Lorraine). Reunion of two glazed earthenware cups, the first in the shape of a dove with knotted wings (height 14.5 cm), the eyes in sulphides added, the second in the shape of a folded leaf with floral decoration, the handle imitating a branch of vine loaded with grapes (length 21 cm - signed "St C"). Circa 1880. Minor chips - restoration to the handle of the second one. Provenance: Geneviève Aubry collection (1948-2025), Rosières-aux-Salines.
