Description
Manufacture of Saint-Clément (Lorraine). Reunion of a very small openwork basket (Emile Gallé form, length 13.8 cm) in white-blue enamelled earthenware, a small planter in the form of a torn sack (length 11.8 cm) decorated with thistles, the Lorraine cross and "Herbier de Lorraine" flowers, and an oval tray with an openwork border imitating wickerwork, with a remarkable bouquet of very finely painted flowers (27 x 21.5 cm). Handwritten signature under the basket alone, the other pieces are unsigned. Last third of the 19th century. Minor accidents.
