Emile GALLE (1846-1904), Nancy, for the Saint-Clément factory (Lorraine). Large rocaille candlestick, Louis XV style, in blue-white enamelled earthenware. Handwritten signature in blue "St Clément Gallé Nancy". Late 1870s. Height 30 cm. A modest chip at the top of the binet. Exhibited at the Château de Luénville in summer 2012 as part of the exhibition "Faïences en lumière - Les productions de Lunéville Saint-Clément", and reproduced in the catalogue p. 31. Provenance: Geneviève Aubry collection (1948-2025), Rosières-aux-Salines.
