Description
Geo CONDE (1891-1980) for the Saint-Clément factory (Lorraine), Edouard Fenal period. Art Deco mantel set consisting of a clock and a pair of vases decorated with flowers and birds, in orange-yellow glazed earthenware. Mark in relief in the paste. Circa 1920-1930. Height of the clock: 29 cm. Minor restoration to the clock.
Provenance: Geneviève Aubry collection (1948-2025), Rosières-aux-Salines.
Exhibited at the Musée de Sarreguemines, from 21 October 2011 to 29 January 2012, as part of the exhibition "Art Déco - La céramique de Lorraine, 1919-1939" (n° Saint-Clément 6) and reproduced in the catalogue p. 147.
