Description
Geo CONDE (1891-1980) for the Manufacture de Lunéville (Lorraine), Keller et Guérin, Edouard Fenal period. Small Art Deco mantel set in polychrome enamelled earthenware, consisting of a pair of vases (24 cm high) and a jardinière (23.5 x 11 x 11.5 cm high) airbrushed with doves on baskets of fruit, or bunches of grapes. Signature stamp in green. Circa 1920-1930. Small chips to the neck.
Exhibited at the Musée de Sarreguemines, from 21 October 2011 to 29 January 2012, as part of the exhibition "Art Déco - La céramique de Lorraine, 1919-1939" (n°Lunéville 5) and reproduced in the catalogue p. 139.
