Description
Geo CONDE (1891-1980) for the Lunéville factory (Lorraine), Keller et Guérin, Edouard Fenal period. A set of two Art Deco glazed earthenware planters decorated with a Chinese woman with a parasol (height 28 cm, cracked) for the larger planter, birds on branches (height 20.5 cm, restorations) for the medium-sized planter and sparrows (Bagdad model, 33.5 x 19.5 x height 13.5 cm) for the planter. Stamped. Circa 1920-1930.
The largest vase exhibited at the Musée de Sarreguemines, from 21 October 2011 to 29 January 2012, as part of the exhibition "Art Déco - La céramique de Lorraine, 1919-1939" (n°Lunéville 8) and reproduced in the catalogue p. 139.
