Description
Geo CONDE (1891-1980) for the manufactures of Lunéville (Lorraine), Keller and Guérin, and Badonviller, Edouard Fenal period. A mendicant dish (diam. 33 cm) and a vase with stylised flowers and fruit, the latter stamped "Faïencerie de Badonviller Grands Magasins aux Galeries Lafayette Paris" (height 19.5 cm). Glazed earthenware decorated with an airbrush. Stamped. 1920s-1930s. The vase exhibited at the Musée de Sarreguemines, from 21 October 2011 to 29 January 2012, as part of the exhibition "Art Déco - La céramique de Lorraine, 1919-1939" (n°Badonviller 8) and reproduced in the catalogue on p. 102 (full page) and p.131. Provenance: Geneviève Aubry collection (1948-2025), Rosières-aux-Salines.
