Description
Geo CONDE (1891-1980) for the Saint-Clément factory (Lorraine), Edouard Fenal period. Exotic fish, large model, in cherry red glazed earthenware. Recessed signature in the paste on the right side of the fish and recessed manufacture stamp on the left fin. Circa 1920-1930. Height 26 cm.
Exhibited at the Musée de Sarreguemines, from 21 October 2011 to 29 January 2012, as part of the exhibition "Art Déco - La céramique de Lorraine, 1919-1939" (n°Saint-Clément 5) and reproduced in the catalogue p. 67 and p. 147.
