Gaston VENTRILLON (1897-1982) for the Saint-Clément factory (Lorraine), Edouard Fenal period. Pigeon. Art Deco crackled glazed earthenware. Stamped in green "St Clément Made in France". Height 18.5 cm. Good condition. An ivory glazed earthenware wood pigeon by Louis FONTINELLE (1886-1964). Height 23 cm. Very minor accidents. Art Deco period from the 1930s for both pieces. Pigeon exhibited at the Musée de Sarreguemines, from 21 October 2011 to 29 January 2012, as part of the exhibition "Art Déco - La céramique de Lorraine, 1919-1939" (n°Saint-Clément 9) and reproduced in the catalogue p. 147. Provenance: Geneviève Aubry collection (1948-2025), Rosières-aux-Salines.
