TOUL-BELLEVUE, Lorraine, Manufacture AUBRY. Vase in terracotta and natural cold varnish, cylindrical shape with flared neck and swollen foot, with Japanese decoration. Stamped with the Toul coat of arms. Between 1864 and 1876. Height 26 cm. Complete with its removable zinc inner bowl. Minor accidents. A model of the same shape with similar decoration is reproduced on p. 46 in "Auguste Majorelle et la faïencerie de Toul", Musée d'art et d'histoire de Toul, 2009. Provenance: coll. part. Lorraine.
