Manufacture of SARREGUEMINES, Lorraine. Rectangular dish in polychrome enamelled earthenware decorated with a Japanese print depicting fishermen. Stamped signature in black "UCS". Décor 1861. Early 20th century. 20 x 34 cm. Good condition. A similar model is kept in the Sarreguemines museums (see the catalogue of the exhibition "Rêves de Japon - japonisme et arts appliqués", 2008, p.159). Provenance: Geneviève Aubry collection (1948-2025), Rosières-aux-Salines.
