SAINT-CLEMENT, Lorraine, after a model by Paul-Louis Cyfflé . The crowned shepherd. A polychrome glazed earthenware group depicting a young woman crowning a shepherd playing his musette. Unsigned. Late 19th century. 19.5 x 14.5 x 24 cm high. Good condition. Provenance: Geneviève Aubry collection (1948-2025), Rosières-aux-Salines. Group exhibited in 2009 at the Château de Lunéville, and reproduced in Catherine Calame, "Cyfflé orfèvre de l'argile - Ses statuettes en Terre de Lorraine et les reprise par les manufactures régionales", 2009, p. 115.
