Portable altar (butsudan) in black lacquer, the interior gold lacquered with môn "kwa" decoration with melon flowers. The ormolu fittings are chased with foliate scrolls. (Missing, worn, missing lacquer).
The interior reveals a later carved wooden Buddha. (Missing hands)
