MAYENCE CARNIVAL - THREE CARNIVAL INSIGNS : - 1949 - Standing carnival performer holding the numbers 1 & 12 - With the exergue "Mainzer Ranzergarde 1949" (Mainz saddlebag protector) - Stamped brass with suspension ring. 48 x 22 mm - Manufacturer's mark on back FROEUCH MAINZ. - 1952 - pylon with flashes of colour from which emerges a carnival performer. below world map with coat of arms of Mainz and legend "Mainzer rosenmonagszug 1952" (Mainz rose Monday parade) - stamped brass cold enamel, height 45 mm. with pin on back. - Cross with ring, 4-pointed star with ball ends, hand of justice fleur-de-lis between each point, in the centre "B" on a red background.
