* Émile GALLÉ (1846-1904). Soup tureen on legs and its frame in tin-glazed earthenware from the Cordelière series, decorated with a yellow cord, numbered G M, the frétel on the lid in the shape of a flower bud in the round. Handwritten signature painted on the reverse, Saint Clément, circa 1875. D. soup tureen: 26 × 35 × 22 cm. Dish: 32 × 47 cm. This could be the service Germain Maire created for himself. Germain Maire, an earthenware painter, worked for Gallé in Saint-Clément, Raon-l'Etape and Nancy.
