* Émile GALLÉ (1846-1904). Bowl on pedestal or compotier in openwork tin-glazed earthenware from the Allégories et Dicts de Lorraine service, model created around 1867-1869 by Émile Gallé in collaboration with his father Charles Gallé, with polychrome enamelled decoration of coltsfoot, insects, egret seeds and feather with small fires, and bearing the motto: "A l'adventure". Enamelled handwritten signature on the reverse, Saint Clément, circa 1869. D. 11.5 × 24 cm.
