Tanniferous earthenware tumbler with painted polychrome enamelled decoration of a bird and a hen on flowering branches and a butterfly.
The design is characteristic of Japonism, much appreciated by Émile GALLÉ.
Handwritten signature painted enamelled on the reverse E. Gallé in red.
