Cylindrical vase on legs in tin-glazed earthenware with Imari-style polychrome enamelled decoration enhanced with gold.
A fine interpretation of the Imari style by the Gallé family, combining Japanese vocabulary with the Rocaille tradition of Lorraine.
Signed on the reverse in Saint-Clément blue and E. Gallé in black. Gallé in black, circa 1878.
