Description
* Émile GALLÉ (1846-1904). Set of four shaped pieces in glazed earthenware with polychrome painted decoration: - Vide-poche or small tray decorated with a nocturnal winter landscape and a crescent moon in relief occupying the centre of the subject and which could be used to hold a bowl. - A flat bowl or coaster decorated with 3 birds in Japanese style. Diameter of bowl: 17.5 cm - Candy dish with Japanese decoration of a character, an earthworm and a prunus branch. (The enamel is slightly missing) - Goblet standing on 3 feet with Japanese decoration of shimmering flowers. Enamelled painted signatures on the reverse, circa 1877-1889. H. 7.5 cm; 14 cm and 19.5 cm.
