* Émile GALLÉ (1846-1904). Tanniferous earthenware soup tureen on legs and base from the Fleurs Héraldiques II series with painted polychrome enamelled decoration in blue and yellow monochrome with flowers in grand feu, surmounted by a crown (for the base). Handwritten signature painted on the reverse, circa 1877-1889. D. soup tureen: 21 × 31.5 × 19 cm. Dish: 46 × 35 cm. (Accidents and restorations to the tray; small chips) On the occasion of the visit of the Queen of Romania to France in 1889, the French government presented the Queen with this earthenware service.
