The Harvester or Ceres, after the model of Mathurin MOREAU.
Solid silver sculpture 925‰, forming an agricultural trophy on a circular moulded red marble base, also decorated with finely chased silver plaques decorated with a cow and a herd of sheep. The goddess is standing holding a bunch of ears of wheat.
Signed on the terrace edge: Christofle orfèvres, with the firm's silver hallmark.
