"The siesta". Mixed technique on paper (traces of dampness at the top and tiny tears at the edges). Signed and located lower left. 72 x 98 cm.
Provenance: former collection of Pierre Moreau, expert to the agricultural courts in Morocco, having been painted by Jacques Majorelle on a canvas now kept at the Chamber of Agriculture in Marrakech.
Expert: Amélie Marcilhac
History: a certificate from Mrs Zafrani and Mrs Marcilhac dated 25 June 2024 will be given to the buyer. This work will be included in the next edition of the book on Jacques Majorelle published by Editions Norma.
