hundreds of items... patiently and passionately assembled over the years.
Doctor PRIN was no ordinary collector:
he was driven by a genuine quest. An insatiable curiosity, a thirst for discovery, a deep love for objects in all their forms - whether an enamelled advertising plaque

We had to sort, photograph, appraise and describe piece
piece by piece. Faced with such incredible diversity, we
decided to structure the sale into three separate auctions, each reflecting a different facet of this extraordinary collector's world.
world of this extraordinary collector:
- The first sale (Saturday 15 November) is dedicated to
art of advertising, with a remarkable collection of enamelled
advertising objects and fairground art.
- The second (Saturday 29 November) will focus on paintings
paintings, with an emphasis on modern and contemporary art, including works by Combas, Arman,
César... all demonstrating a keen interest in the artistic movements of their time.
- Finally, the third sale (Monday 8 December), a resolutely multi-collection affair, plunged us into a highly eclectic and abundant universe.
eclectic universe: antique toys, earthenware, furniture and objets d'art, folk art, antique wrought iron, pharmacy items, bottles, etc,
pharmacy items, perfume bottles, books, minerals, costume jewellery, postcards and labels,
and even pins and corkscrews.
