With regard to jewellery, with the exception of cases where a certificate or an opinion from a gemmological laboratory mentions it, the heat treatment or oiling of stones (a commonly accepted lapidary practice) is never specified in our descriptions. Dimensions and finger sizes are given for information only and the auction house cannot be held responsible. In the case of watches and clocks, the auction house does not guarantee the working order of the mechanism. In the case of paintings, recoating, parquetage and lining are conservation measures and not defects. No claims will be accepted for normal restorations and minor accidents, as the object will have been examined beforehand. Only serious accidents and major repainting will be taken into consideration. The condition of frames is not guaranteed. For paintings, the indication of the technique is a guarantee, but the support may be panel, cardboard or canvas. Attributions have been established on the basis of scientific and artistic knowledge at the date of the sale. Dimensions are given for information only. The TEMIS File may be consulted by all auction houses operating in France that subscribe to this service. The list of TEMIS subscribers can be consulted on the website, in the "Buy at auction" menu, under the "Auctioneers" heading. Inclusion in the TEMIS Register may result in a limitation of the bidder's ability to bid with Professional Auctioneers who subscribe to the TEMIS service. It shall also result in the temporary suspension of access to the "Live" service of the platform managed by CPM, in accordance with the general terms and conditions of use of this platform.
