-> BENEFICIARY ASSOCIATIONS: La Fututre Maison de l'autisme d'Arcachon: a place for information, listening and sharing
The Maison de l'autisme is a national initiative called for by President Emmanuel Macron at the National Disability Conference on 11 February 2020. It opened its doors in April 2023 and aims to provide better support for autistic people, their families and professionals.
It offers reliable information, a listening ear, advice and discussion forums on neurodevelopmental disorders - and autism in particular.
The missions of the Maison de l'autisme :

Training and raising awareness: offering events to help people better understand autism.
Giving a voice: enabling people with autism to express themselves and share their experiences.
Creating links: encouraging exchanges between families, people with autism, associations and professionals.

People with autism, whatever their age or situation.

-> THROUGH THE ARCACHON LION'S CLUB
LA MAISON DE LÉO
A unique project dedicated to autism and disability
Did you know that around 1 to 2% of children are affected by autism spectrum disorders?
Do you know any of them personally?
In Gironde, that's more than 3,000 children, nearly 200 of whom live in the Arcachon basin.
Behind these figures, there are faces, families, journeys often strewn with obstacles; parents looking for solutions, support, a little listening and above all... hope.
It's for them that the Arcachon Lions Club has decided to take action and give life to a dream: the Maison de Léo.
This concept, the only one of its kind in France, will be entirely dedicated to welcoming, accompanying and supporting autistic children and their families. Thanks to the generous provision of a plot of land by the La Teste de Buch health centre, and with the partnership of ADAPEI 33, we are going to build 650 m² of warm and welcoming spaces open to everyone, parents, associations, doctors, medical and social professionals and carers.
Driven by a formidable chain of solidarity, this project already enjoys the support of local authorities and specialist associations.
Now we need your help to take it a step further. We are organising a charity auction on 20 June 2026, the proceeds from which will help to finance the Maison de Léo.
Donate a lot (eligible for a CERFA tax receipt) and, through this gesture, offer a less difficult and more inclusive future to hundreds of children.
Together, let's make this dream come true. Together, let's give these families the strength to believe in tomorrow.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and kindness.
